Brahmi & Jatamansi Calming Hair Oil

Purpose: Soothes the scalp and supports restful evenings; leaves hair soft and nourished.

πͺ Ingredients
- 100 ml Almond Oil (base) β or 70 ml Almond + 30 ml Sesame Oil
- 1 tbsp Brahmi Powder
- 1 tsp Jatamansi (Spikenard) Powder
βοΈ Preparation
- Warm the oil(s) on the lowest flame (do not boil).
- Whisk in Brahmi and Jatamansi powders; keep on low heat for 12β15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Turn off heat, cover, and let infuse until cool. Strain through a fine cloth into a clean amber bottle.
π How to Use
At night, apply a small amount to scalp, temples, and hairline. Massage gently for 3β5 minutes. Leave on 30β60 minutes (or overnight) and cleanse next day. Use 2β3Γ weekly.
πΈ Why This Works
Brahmi is traditionally used as a medhya (mind-supporting) herb that soothes the scalp, while Jatamansi is prized for calming and grounding properties. A lightweight almond oil base carries the actives and adds softness and shine.

Add 1β2 drops Lavender Essential Oil per 30 ml for a relaxing aroma, or blend in 10% Sesame Oil for a warmer feel in cooler months.
